Signs that It’s Time to Replace Your House Siding

Cracks or warping: It’s time to take a walk around your home’s perimeter. Check for any signs of siding damage including cracks that are tiny as well as any rotting areas. 

Blisters or bubbles: When you are checking out your siding, it is a sign of problems if you discover there are any bubbling areas under the surface of your siding. This can indicate that water has penetrated your siding and you can begin to have a moisture problem.

Mold or mildew: If you are spotting spots of fungus, mold or mildew along the seams of your siding that can signal a moisture problem as well. It may just be a surface problem that you can just power wash off, but you need to really take a close look to make sure that it does not go deeper than just the surface. 

Lack of color: A faded siding color does not just look bad, but it also shows that your siding is on its last leg and may not be doing its job anymore of protecting your home from the weather elements.
