We had a great experience! Berg did our roof. Tear off and new shingles. They were able to move us up in the schedule due to a cancellation. The workers started on time and were careful doing the tear off. The debris was moved over to the dump trailer from all sides of the house. Not much fell off away from the trailer. One of the workers kept the grounds picked up the whole day. We only found 6 nails they didn’t pick up. The shingle installation went smoothly and was completed in one day. Very happy with the final result.

I highly recommend Berg for your roofing needs. They are one of the few trades we’ve hired over the years that are ultra professional and go above and beyond. Here’s a quick summary of our problem and solution.

We asked Berg (and Chris, our manager/point of contact) to delete and move few plumbing vent stacks and add bathroom fan exhausts. They were competitive with a few other firms and were willing to take on a smaller job (aka not a full roof replacement) since the winter season was slow.

The job was quick, well done and the team cleaned up after themselves. We ended up having to replace an entire flat roof portion originally thought to be shingle (but undetectable from lower angles). This was an additional cost but Berg still ate some of it to stay on schedule and some other unmentioned reasons.

The key part in all of this was John’s proactivity in communicating everything from proposal to wrapping up. If you’ve had contractors ghost you in the last few years, you know why this is important. All in all we had our expectations understood and met. I’d hire them again for future roofing needs!

Due to the supply chain shortage, it took a long time for materials to get in but once they were in they got on it and knocked it out. They never hopped jobs and showed up at my job every day until it was complete. They had a clear and organized plan to efficiently do the job and it went about as well as this big of a job could go. All new doors, windows, siding, facia, soffit, gutters….Had to improvise and get creative in a few areas but they figured it out. Very happy with the results and have already recommended them to others.

Berg Roofing successfully completed a complete tear off our existing layers of roof and installed a completely new roofing system and skylights using Certainteed Landmark PRO Architectural high-definition shingles. They replaced our roof in only 2 days; our siding took a little longer because of the weather. We had one little problem that they corrected immediately. Berg Roofing has done two roofs for me at two different homes, and both were done exceptionally well. From deciding on the shingles to installation, their service is top-notch. They even had someone come out to meet with our insurance appraiser to help assess hail damage. The crew worked exceptionally fast…I have a huge roof with a steep pitch and lots of angles, so the fact that they were done in a day and a half is crazy. They are trustworthy, and I highly recommend them!

From the presentation of options for siding and windows, including ideas on how to do certain components in an affordable way, to the installation, Berg Home Improvements was professional, followed through, and answered any questions we had within minutes of an email or text. They removed my shutters so I could spray paint them and then replaced them for us at the end at no additional charge. The siding crew worked hard – from 7 am until 7 pm for 4 days. We did pick up a few nails here and there, but for the most part, the yard was left in great shape.

For over a year, we searched for a company that we felt comfortable installing new windows on our home. Finally, we called Berg Home Improvements, and a wonderful salesman named Nick came out to give us a quote and to explain in detail about the windows we would be getting and the time frame that it would take to install them. The installation crew, Andrew, and his partner arrived right on time and were also a pleasure to deal with. They were extremely professional and installed the windows in no time with minimal disruption in the house. They cleaned up thoroughly and walked us through how everything works with the new windows. We couldn’t be happier with the craftsmanship of the installation and the quality of the windows. Andrew even was kind enough to fix a small gap in our gutters where birds were getting in and out. Update: We had Berg out again the following year to install more windows. As before, Nick was a pleasure to work with and offered us competitive prices on high-quality double pane windows. This time Brent came out to install the windows. He did a wonderful job and really took the time and effort to get the finer details, such as capping the exterior trim and caulking perfectly. Again we highly recommend them if you want great windows installed with pride and care at an affordable price!

I am glad that I found Berg. I had replaced my roof eight years ago and I had used the cheapest priced contractor. What a mistake! From day one I had problems with my roof. The leaks never stopped. The company I used tried a few times to fix them but never did. Finally, I found Berg, they came in and fixed the leaks and I have had a dry roof ever since! Thanks, Berg for all your help.

I did my research because this is a large purchase for me and I didn’t want to make a mistake. I had gotten a number of estimates. Berg by far was the best company I interviewed. The sales rep did an incredible job explaining exactly what they were going to, the products they used and why. They also said they wouldn’t be the lowest priced contractor but would give me a 10 job for a 5 price. I was glad they were in the BBB. They gave me references and that they were a certified contractor with Certainteed and could offer me an extended warranty that the other guys couldn’t.
