Have nothing but good things to say about John and his team at Berg. We had some siding which was torn off our home during a storm which needed to be repaired. It was difficult finding firms which even wanted the project… but John was quick to come out to the house, check it out, and give me my options for the fix. Once we agreed on the scope, he quoted a flat fee… and that was what I ended up paying. No hidden/extra charges.

The siding had to be ordered and he kept me up-to-date as the process unfolded. He even checked in with me again after another bad storm to make sure nothing else had been broken! Once the materials were ready, John sent his team to the house and they made quick work of completing the job including all clean-up of the old materials. John followed-up once they were done and accepted an electronic payment to complete the project.

Really impressed with the communication throughout the process. Definitely would recommend to friends/family.

We just had our roof replaced by Berg, and the crew did a fantastic job. Complete tear-off of the old roof, some decking replaced, all new flashing, new vents, new attic fan. We were referred to John for full window replacement in our 1940s home and are thrilled with the outcome. Our original windows were installed when the home was built and in bad shape and no longer helped insulate the house, so we opted for full window repair, including trim and casing.

John was a great at listening to our desires and guiding us through options. We went with the Marvin Elevate series (painted pine), installing 10 double hung windows across our home, which took less than two months from signing the final contract to completing install.

The workers were friendly and operated with care despite having to deal with delicate plaster walls and stucco. When we had questions for John about whether the full contract had been executed, he made a aite visit and ensured our concerns were fully addressed. The results are beautiful, the products and work are high quality, and we look forward to using Berg again for other home improvement projects in the future.

We had the roof, skylights, gutters, soffits and fascia replaced. Our contact at the company, John, was very knowledgeable from the first time he came out to give us a quote. My husband specifically wanted a ridge vent across the entire length of the roof and we had a situation at the corner of the house that required a bit of ingenuity with the gutter. Berg sent three different crews to our house due to everything we were having done. Everyone on site was courteous and thoroughly cleaned up the property when they were done.
My husband has been a carpenter for 33 years. He originally started out building houses and had high expectations for this project. If he was satisfied then I am satisfied!
Please note that the amount of money we were quoted is the amount of money we paid. There were no hidden charges. Communication with John was very easy. If I had a question while the crews were on site, he responded to me almost immediately. I will definitely recommend Berg home services in the future.
