I highly recommend Berg for your roofing needs. They are one of the few trades we’ve hired over the years that are ultra professional and go above and beyond. Here’s a quick summary of our problem and solution.

We asked Berg (and Chris, our manager/point of contact) to delete and move few plumbing vent stacks and add bathroom fan exhausts. They were competitive with a few other firms and were willing to take on a smaller job (aka not a full roof replacement) since the winter season was slow.

The job was quick, well done and the team cleaned up after themselves. We ended up having to replace an entire flat roof portion originally thought to be shingle (but undetectable from lower angles). This was an additional cost but Berg still ate some of it to stay on schedule and some other unmentioned reasons.

The key part in all of this was John’s proactivity in communicating everything from proposal to wrapping up. If you’ve had contractors ghost you in the last few years, you know why this is important. All in all we had our expectations understood and met. I’d hire them again for future roofing needs!
